Belarus and Russia have almost completely agreed on a package of integration documents. First Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Nikolai Snopkov said this at a meeting with the head of state today , BelTA has learned.

“For almost three years now, at the initiative of our Russian partners, we have been implementing approaches to deepen integration as part of the implementation of the agreement on the creation of the Union State. For Russians, these are issues of tax and customs regulation, that is, transparency, traceability of goods across their territory. For us, these are the conditions for cooperation in the energy sector and access to the Russian market. mutual interests “, – said Nikolay Snopkov.

According to him, as a result, the parties reached an almost completely agreed package of integration documents, including the main directions and 28 sectoral union programs, as well as draft decisions of the Union Council of Ministers and the Supreme State Council of the Union State on their approval.

As the head of state Alexander Lukashenko stated on August 9 during the “Big Conversation with the President” – a meeting with journalists, representatives of the public, the expert and media community, only one union program remains to be coordinated within the Union State.

The previously considered integration cards were reformatted into union programs. There are 28 of them in total. And one question remained unresolved.
