Gegham Nazaryan, an opposition deputy from the “Armenia” faction, was injured in a fight that broke out in the conference room of the National Assembly of Armenia.

According to representatives of the opposition, Nazaryan received a blow in the eye and was hospitalized in the ophthalmological center named after S.V. Malayan.

It is worth noting that today, from early morning, the activities of the country’s legislative body are periodically interrupted due to fights between deputies from the ruling force and opposition blocs.

The first incident occurred during a speech by Hayk Sargsyan, a deputy from the ruling Civil Contract force, who accused all former defense ministers of the country as traitors, since they “freed citizens from compulsory military service for money.” A deputy from the “Armenia” bloc, ex-defense minister Seyran Ohanyan, who shouted something from the spot, reacted to this statement.
