The village named after Orazgeldy Ersaryev (former collective farm named after Telman) in the Akdepa etrap of the Dashoguz velayat has been closed for entry and exit for more than a week. According to sources of turkmen.news, at least 26 people have died from coronavirus in the village. There is not a single family left in the village where there would be no sick. The regional hospital in Akdepe is overcrowded with patients.

Sources in the Dashoguz velayat also reported that students from this region, like students from Turkmenabat, could not get to Ashgabat by September 1. A special train with students departed from Dashoguz, as well as from Turkmenabat, on August 24, but after three hours it was turned back. The train left at about 22:30 and was returned on the night of August 25 from the Shasenem station.

n recent weeks, a surge in the incidence of COVID-19 has been reported in Lebap and Mary velayats, as well as in Ashgabat. Recently, similar news began to come from the Balkan velayat. And now it became known about the quarantine of a village in the Dashoguz velayat. It can be concluded that the epidemic situation has worsened throughout the country.
