President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Farid Gayibov in video format in connection with his appointment as Minister of Youth and Sports.

According to AZERTAC, the head of state made a speech at the reception.

Speech by President Ilham Aliyev:

– You are appointed to the post of Minister of Youth and Sports, you have been given great confidence. I am sure that you will justify it. You are well known to the sports community of our country. You have been active in the field of sports for many years and are also President of European Gymnastics. You were elected to this position several years ago, which testifies to the fact that you have gained prestige in the international arena as well. Considering these factors, I place this high confidence in you and hope that there will be good results in the field of sports, in the field of youth policy.
