Uzbekistan is allowed to vaccinate children over 12 years of age with Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine on a voluntary basis.

The results of clinical trials of the Pfizer coronavirus vaccine in children aged 12-15 have shown that this vaccine is highly effective and safe.

The World Health Organization recommends that children and adolescents over 12 years of age be vaccinated with Pfizer vaccine.

In accordance with the decision of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor and the National Technical Immunological Expertise of the Republic of Uzbekistan, with the consent of parents and guardians, children over 12 years old can receive the Pfizer vaccine on a voluntary basis.
