Discussions of the draft state budget for 2022 continue in the standing committees of the National Assembly. Today, the discussion was held at a joint meeting of the commissions on economic and financial-credit and budgetary issues.

The deputy of “Hayastan” faction Artur Khachatryan called the 7% economic growth predicted by the government “unrealistic”. Khachatryan asked the Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan, the expectation of which made it possible to predict such an indicator – the exploitation of the Amulsar field or the opening of the Armenian-Turkish border. The MP also asked whether an assessment of the economic impact of the opening of the border has been carried out.
