The time has come to develop direct contacts between the EAEU, EU, SCO and the Organisation of Turkic States, the first president said.
The first president of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, took part in the 6th meeting of the Astana Club, elbasy.kz reports.
Welcoming the participants of the meeting, Nursultan Nazarbayev emphasized that the “Astana Club” has occupied its unique niche in the international arena as a platform that brought together authoritative politicians, diplomats and world-class experts.
He also dwelled on the main achievements of Kazakhstan’s development over 30 years of independence:
“This year Kazakhstan celebrates the 30th anniversary of its independence. For me, as the first president of the country, whom the people entrusted with the honor of leading the process of creation and formation of the modern Kazakh state, this milestone is of particular importance. As you well know, in a short historical period of time, Kazakhstan has made important progress in its development. By pursuing a proactive, multi-vector and peaceful policy, we have taken a worthy place in the international community of nations. ”
