President Sadyr Japarov called statements of some politicians, who said their votes were stolen and ballots in boxes are replaced, as absurd.

There are 31,000 members of election commissions across the country, Japarov said in interview with a local newspaper.

“Now imagine these election commission members are running with ballots and replacing them overnight. We live in time when it becomes clear immediately what 3 people were doing. If pressure was exerted by administration, the Central Election Commission, members of local election commissions should tell this. I will resign immediately,” Japarov said.

Protocols are completed during elections. Sometimes data is input with mistakes and it is corrected then. All have different levels of education, he said.
