As part of the English Speaking Nation: Secondary Teacher Training (ESN:STT) Program, which was launched in November 2019 by the US Embassy in Tashkent and the Ministry of Public Education of Uzbekistan, on Friday, 4 March , the stage of cascade training to improve the professional qualifications of teachers has begun.

English Speaking Nation: Secondary Teacher Training (ESN:STT) is a three-year, $5 million program that aims to train and provide professional development opportunities for more than 15,000 English teachers in public schools across the Republic of Uzbekistan. As part of the ESN:STT Program, implemented by the American Councils for International Education (American Councils), representatives of the TESOL International Association were invited to Uzbekistan so that they could study from June to December 2021. certified 386 teachers in Uzbekistan under the TESOL Core Certificate Program (TCCP), which is an intensive, internationally recognized 140-hour full-time practical course.
