A group of 12 people was detained in the Samarkand region for involvement in the activities of extremist organizations, a Podrobno.uz correspondent reports citing data from the State Security Service.

One of the residents of the Pastdargomsky district created a community in social networks, which was joined by 12 local residents. Community members discussed and regularly distributed banned materials with ideas of extremism, bigotry and terrorism among acquaintances.
