Kazakhstan’s Health Ministry explains removal of restrictions for vaccinated people -TOTAL.KZ

In connection with a gradual increase in the number of people vaccinated against coronavirus infection, a decree of the chief state sanitary doctor lifted a number of restrictions for persons who have a full course of vaccination against coronavirus infection. Minister of Health Aleksey Tsoi announced this at a government meeting, Total.kz reported.

“The Ministry has revised the criteria for limiting the work of socio-economic facilities in terms of lifting the restrictions on working hours. Concessions for objects operating in the open air, holding sports events, activities of sports organizations. New facilities have been introduced into the criteria and the order of their operation has been determined: summer grounds, catering facilities by the type of canteens,” the news organisation cited Tsoi as saying.

In particular, restrictions on work in the “red” zone of supermarkets and hypermarkets have been lifted and open markets have been allowed to operate on Sunday, and religious objects have been allowed to operate in the “red” and “yellow” zones in the open air without holding collective events in closed spaces, Total.kz said.

In addition, according to him, the opening hours of public catering facilities in premises such as restaurants, cafes and coffee shops in the “green” zone have been increased from 7 am to 2 am with occupancy rates up to 50%. The activities of computer clubs and bowling alleys with occupancy rates of up to 30% are permitted.

The criteria additionally introduced new objects and determined the order of their activities. Summer playgrounds in the “red” zone are allowed to operate from 9 am to 8 pm with occupancy rates up to 50%. In the “yellow” zone – from 7 am to midnight with occupancy up to 50%. In the “green” zone from 7 am to 2 am with occupancy up to 50%. As well as catering facilities by the type of canteens in the “yellow” and “green” zones around the clock. Street food and attractions are allowed without restrictions, ”added the head of the Ministry of Health.

The minister also said that in connection with a gradual increase in the number of vaccinated against CVI, by the decree of the chief state sanitary doctor, a number of restrictions have been lifted for persons who have a full course of vaccination against coronavirus infection.
