Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov arrived in Armenia, his plane landed at Yerevan Zvartnots airport, News.ru reported, citing Sputnik Armenia.
The Russian Foreign Minister was greeted by his colleague Ara Ayvazyan, Russian Ambassador to Armenia Sergei Kopyrkin and Armenian Ambassador to Russia Vardan Toganyan , the statement says.
According to News.ru, earlier it was reported that Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov would visit Armenia, where he would meet with the acting head of the republic’s government Nikol Pashinyan.
The visit will be a continuation of the intensive Russian-Armenian political dialogue. The parties will discuss regional cooperation, as well as foreign policy coordination in the EAEU, CSTO, UN and other international bodies.
