At the beginning of June of this year, 29.7 thousand foreign companies were registered in Kazakhstan, their number increased by 8.4% over the year, FINPROM reported.

Of these, more than 29.2 thousand are small foreign companies, plus 8.5% per year. Another 246 registered foreign companies are medium-sized legal entities, their number decreased by 6.1%. The number of large foreign companies was 199, the figure increased by 2.1%.

The share of foreign companies in the total number registered in the Republic of Kazakhstan has slightly increased over the year – from 6.1% to 6.3%.
