Azerbaijan’s spending on economic activity fell by more than a quarter in first half
Azerbaijan spent 26.4 percent less on economic activity in the first half of the year compared to the same period a year earlier, according to the Ministry of Finance.
This amounts to an expenditure of 1,473.1 million manats on economic activities from the state budget, the ministry said in a report.
The amount spent so far makes up 24.8 percent of the funds allocated for this year, the report showed.
Over the past year, the share of spending for economic activity in budget expenditures fell from 17.1 percent to 12.7 percent.
