A branch of the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage will open in Tashkent, Podrobno.uz correspondent reports with reference to the corresponding presidential decree.
Mirziyoyev instructed the Ministry of Higher Education, together with the khokimiyat of Tashkent, until May 1, 2022, to submit to the Cabinet of Ministers a draft resolution on the creation of a Tashkent branch of this university on the basis of the Tashkent College of Tourism and Service.
At the same time, the International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage “Silk Road” will be transformed into a basic higher educational institution of the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization for training personnel in the fields of tourism, cultural heritage management and museology, as well as into a scientific institution for scientific and innovative research in data spheres.
