On September 14, the Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek found five accused in the case of the abduction of Aizada Kanatbekova guilty. All of them received from 6.5 to 7 years in prison. The kidnapping of the girl led to her rape and murder by Zamirbek Tenizbaev.

Five people were accused in the case: Kubanych Tokon uulu, Zamirbek Ramankulov, Azhikabyl Rysbai uulu, Orozbek Nurumbetov and Syimyk Moldosariev.

At the previous meeting, the accused Orozbek Nurumbetov fully admitted his guilt. Zamirbek Ramankulov pleaded not guilty, and the rest of the suspects admitted it partially.

The Pervomaisky District Court sentenced the accused Azhikabyl Rysbay uulu, Orozbek Nurumbetov and Syimyk Moldosariev to 7 years in prison, and Tokon uulu and Ramankulov to 6 years and 6 months in prison.

In addition, all the accused must compensate the injured party – the mother of Aizada Kanatbekova Nazgul Shakenova – only 100 thousand soms as moral and material damage.

Shakenova in an interview with “Kloop” said that the family of the deceased girl was satisfied with the verdict and “everything turned out justly.”
