Aizada Kanatbekova was kidnapped on April 5, 2021. Two days later, the girl was found dead. On this fact, several pre-trial proceedings were initiated, including the case of the negligence of the police officers of the Pervomaisky district of Bishkek in the search for the girl, which led to the murder of the girl.

The lawyer of the injured party, Nurbek Toktakunov, stated several times that the criminal case against the policemen was suspended. The prosecutor’s office says that the case is under investigation by the State Committee for National Security.

Pre-trial proceedings under the article “Negligence” against employees of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Pervomaisky district of Bishkek began on April 8, 2021, and the investigation was entrusted to the capital’s department of the State Committee for National Security.
