An open dialogue on the topic “Guarantees of women’s suffrage and topical issues of increasing their participation in elections” was held today at the International Media Hall.

The organizers of the open dialogue were the Republican Public Women’s Council, the Senate Committee for Women and Gender Equality, the Central Election Commission, the National Association of Electronic Mass Media of Uzbekistan and the national movement Yuxalish.

At the beginning of the event, Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Chairperson of the Public Women’s Council Tanzila Narbaeva spoke about the role of women in society, political education, and active participation in elections.
