On October 12, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon from Belgium, where he was on a working trip, made an official visit to the capital of France, the press service of the head of state reported.

At the Orly International Airport, he was greeted by high-ranking representatives of the French Republic.

In the lobby of the hotel, the head of state received a warm welcome from the management of the hotel and the staff of the Tajik Embassy in Paris.

During the visit, high-level meetings are expected, including with French President Emmanuel Macron, at which, among other things, the Afghan problem will be considered.

Emomali Rahmon will also take part in the opening ceremony of the exhibition of historical monuments “Tajikistan – the land of golden rivers” at the Parisian Museum of Asian Crafts “Guimet” on October 13.
