Georgia’s trade deficit was $5.835 billion in 2021, compared with $818.6 million a year earlier and $4.184 billion in January-November last year, the National Statistics Office said.

The country’s trade turnover totalled $14.319, 25.6 percent more than in 2020.

Exports equalled $4.242 billion in 2021, 26.9 percent up from 2020, while imports stood at $10.077 billion, 25.1 percent more than a year earlier.
