Large Belarusian enterprises intend to increase cooperation with Kazakhstan and sign contracts, BelTA learned from the press service of the government.

Minsk Tractor Works, in particular, plans to invest $ 50 million to develop its production in Kazakhstan. Vitaly Vovk, Director General of MTZ OJSC, told reporters about this during a visit by Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko to the Composite Group Kazakhstan enterprise in Kostonai. The head of MTZ noted that at the first stage, a workshop for the production of cabins will be built together with Kazakhstani partners. The next stage is the construction of another building with an area of 25 thousand square meters for the assembly of engines and radiators of all types. It is also planned to release a new type of product – diesel pumps. Vitaly Vovk also said that now there are three assembly plants in Kazakhstan, and there is also its own MTZ trading house.

General Director of the Bobruiskagromash holding Nadezhda Lazarevich also expressed interest in further developing cooperation with Kazakhstani colleagues. During a visit by the Belarusian delegation to the Agromash-Khoding KZ enterprise, she noted that Bobruiskagromash has been working closely with Kazakhstan for the last 5 years: there is an assembly plant for the production of trailers, press-hangers and mowers, the range of forage harvesting equipment is expanding. During the year, the export of agricultural machinery to Kazakhstan increased by 150%. Nadezhda Lazarevich believes that Kazakhstan is a capacious market that is interesting for manufacturers. During the visit of the Belarusian Prime Minister, it is planned to sign a contract with the Kazakh dealer of “Bobruiskagromash” for the supply of car sets for $ 1 million. This contract is designed for six months.
