Which political force will win the elections in Armenia if they are held next week and what will be the political alignment? Director of the Caucasus Institute Alexander Iskandaryan says, according to ARKA.AM. 

Pashinyan can win in the first round

According to Iskandaryan, there are still two months before the elections, which is quite a number and some forces will still be nominated, but the largest ones that will influence the outcome of the elections have more or less decided, including the Republican Party, made a statement the day before, according to ARKA.AM. 

“First of all, this is“ My step ”or“ Civil agreement ”, that is, (the strength of the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol – ed.) Pashinyan. They will participate in the campaign, and they have a very serious chance of winning in the first round. They will not necessarily come true, but they are, and therefore Pashinyan is going to the polls to restart bureaucratic legitimacy now, since the big question is whether he will be able to do this in three years. As long as there is such an opportunity, it should be used, ”Iskandaryan said.
