After a detailed meeting in a narrow format, Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev and Shavkat Mirziyoyev continued negotiations with the participation of members of the official delegations of the two countries. This was reported by MIA “Kazinform” with reference to the press service of Akorda .

The presidents paid priority attention to strengthening trade and economic cooperation, including increasing mutual trade, attracting investments, developing cooperation in the spheres of industry, agriculture, construction, and transport. Interaction in water-energy and cultural-humanitarian spheres was also discussed.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted the dynamic development of multifaceted relations between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, based on unshakable friendship and good neighborliness.
