The vice minister spoke about the new project for reimbursing the employer’s salary.

In Kazakhstan, they plan to reimburse employers for part of the salary for employees of pre-retirement age. This was announced by the Vice Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Yerzhan Birzhanov, reports Total.kz.

As Birzhanov explained at the CCS briefing, the age of two or three years before retirement is considered problematic in terms of employment among Kazakhstanis. During this period, Kazakhstanis find it difficult to get a job, the news organisation said.

“The project“ Silver Age ”is envisaged, according to which it is planned to reimburse the employer within two years before retirement salary in a certain amount. This option is being worked out, the proposal is supported. There are figures, there are forecasts, it is necessary to solve these problems, ”the vice minister explained, according to Total.kz.

He also admitted that it is difficult for young people under 25 to find work.

“There will be new projects in terms of providing the first jobs. This is a subsidy for the first job. There are areas in which internship is provided in the first jobs. Not somewhere in the classroom or online, but right in the field. For example, in a catering point or a hairdresser’s, a young man will undergo an internship, and these amounts of salary costs will be reimbursed. Subsequently, they will be able to get a permanent position in a year, ”Birzhanov explained.
