President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev congratulated the Orthodox Christian community of Azerbaijan on Easter, turan.az reports.

“I sincerely congratulate you – all Christians of Azerbaijan on the holy Easter, I convey to you my most heartfelt wishes,” the President’s festive address says.

Aliyev highlighted the “merits of Christian compatriots in the liberation” of the Azerbaijani territory from the occupation during the 44-left Patriotic War.
