Trucks and buses for the transport of security forces have been spotted at the entrance to the center of Minsk, News.ru reported citing the portal Tut.by.

Eyewitnesses reported the movements on the streets of Akademicheskaya, Platonov and Oktyabrskaya. The security forces were also pulled into the area of ​​the Friendship of Peoples Park, where the “Chernobyl Way” campaign is traditionally held on April 26, which is timed to coincide with the anniversary of the disaster at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant in Ukraine. The catastrophe – near the border with Belarus – actually affected far greater parts of that country than Ukraine itself.
