Sowing of winter crops in Belarus was carried out on an area of ​​1,457.4 thousand hectares, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.

In total, 100.1% of the planned 1 million 456.1 thousand hectares have been sown, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food specified.

According to operational information on the progress of agricultural work, as of October 10, grain and leguminous crops (with corn) were harvested from 2.161 million hectares (91.6% of the planned area). 6.733 million tons of grain have been threshed.
