Tajikistan expelled 50 Kyrgyz citizens without explanation. This is reported by the border service of the State Committee for National Security.

The citizens of Kyrgyzstan returned to Kyrgyzstan through the checkpoints Karamyk – Avtodorozhny and Bordebo – Avtodorozhny. They were expelled by the Tajik authorities within 24 hours without giving any reasons or allowing them to say goodbye to their families.

These citizens are natives of the Jergetal region of Tajikistan. Their family members have Tajik citizenship and live in Tajikistan.
