Consumer prices in Tajikistan rose by 1.7 percent in March month-on-month after rising 0.2 percent in February, the Statistics Agency reported.

Annual inflation in March was 7.3 percent, down from 9.2 percent in February.

In 2021, annual inflation in Tajikistan was 8 percent. The country’s central bank forecasts annual inflation in a range of 4-8 percent in 2022, although experts expect it to reach 15 percent.
