Vice-premier, Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov had a telephone conversation with Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Mohammad Khanif Atmar, Turkmenistan Today reported, citing the website of the Foreign Ministry of the country.

The sides have discussed the broad number of matters of bilateral cooperation. The sides have exchanged the views on the implementation of the agreements reached between President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Mohamad Ashraf Ghani during a telephone conversation on May 13 this year.
