On May 1, a dump of industrial and domestic waste was discovered on the territory of the Mehdiabad settlement of the Absheron region.
The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported this to Day.az.
For violation of the requirements of Article 271 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (non-compliance with the requirements for environmental protection during storage and incineration of industrial and household waste), a protocol was drawn up against the chairman of the municipality of Mehdiabad settlement V. Huseynov and an administrative penalty was applied in the amount of 3,000 manats.
According to Day.az, on the territory of Binagadi region, in the courtyard of one of the buildings on Vagzalyan street in the village of Balajari, a solid waste dump was found. In relation to the citizen Y. Rajabov living in this building, a protocol was also drawn up under Article 271 of the Code of Administrative Offenses and a fine of 500 manats was imposed.
