The Prosecutor’s Office of Karakalpakstan has begun an investigation into the sale of burial places near the famous Mizdakhan necropolis, the Podrobno.uz correspondent reports, citing data from the Cultural Heritage Agency.
Recall that today the famous public figure and blogger Lilia Nikolenko posted a photo on social networks, which shows how the area around the archaeological site is turning into a modern pompous cemetery.
The Cultural Heritage Agency said that the territory of cultural heritage sites and archaeological sites, as well as the protected areas around them cannot be allocated as a land plot for a cemetery, otherwise the people responsible for this will be brought to administrative or criminal liability.
