Weightlifter from Uzbekistan Maftuna Ismailova has been disqualified due to doping, a Podrobno.uz correspondent reports citing the National Anti-Doping Agency.
In a doping test taken from Ismailova in November 2021 during the out-of-competition period, prohibited drugs were found – oxandrolone and stanozolol.
The athlete is disqualified for four years from December 23, 2021 to December 22, 2025.
Oxandrolone – is used to increase endurance, increase muscle mass, temporarily increase strength. Promotes the removal of excess water, has a quick restorative effect.
Stanozolol – significantly increases muscle strength and overall endurance, removes excess fluid from the body, promotes the burning of body fat.
