This is how the department reacted to numerous messages on social networks about dust in the capital and other regions of the country. Forecasters noted that against the background of a sharp increase in air temperature on December 1-2 in the republic, there was an increase in wind up to 17-22 m / s. In some areas, wind gusts reached 25-30 m / s. In some places, the increase in wind was accompanied by a dust storm and dusty haze. On December 3, strong winds across the territory of Uzbekistan stopped dust and began to gradually settle.
