The State Tourism Agency of Azerbaijan has organized a media tour to the State Historical and Cultural Reserve “Lahich”.

The purpose of the trip is to inform the public about the work carried out towards the restoration of tourism in the country, as well as the development of the tourism sector, especially in the summer season, about new tourism products and projects, and bringing to a wide audience the possibilities of existing tourist corridors.

As part of the media tour, journalists were provided with extensive information about new tourism products created in Azerbaijan in 2020-2021, as well as a presentation of the Baku-North-West corridor, which connects the Absheron region with Agsu and Ismayilli.

The chief architect of the GTA, the coordinator of the Baku-North-West project Nizami Gasimov said that 30 bathrooms have been created on this path, 150 catering facilities have been repaired and presented, another 120 are in the process.

Elgun Javadov, head of the regional tourism development sector of the State Tourism Agency, spoke about the mymenu.az platform, which is available in three languages.
