The founder of Group-IB, Ilya Sachkov, was arrested in Moscow for two months on suspicion of high treason. This was reported to TASS by the press service of the Lefortovo District Court.

“By the decision of the Lefortovo District Court of Moscow dated September 28, in relation to Ilya Konstantinovich Sachkov, suspected of committing a crime under Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (” Treason “), a preventive measure was chosen in the form of imprisonment for a period of up to November 27,” press service.

Earlier, the media reported that searches had been carried out in the Moscow office of Group-IB the day before. Her press service clarified that law enforcement officers left the company’s office in the evening of the same day. The company noted that they do not have information about the reasons for the ongoing investigative measures.
