Roskomnadzor intends to collect turnover fines from Google through court for repeated failure to delete prohibited information, Vadim Subbotin, deputy head of the department, told reporters on Tuesday.

“Yes, we plan to draw up protocols on turnover fines on October 27 this year against Google for repeated failure to delete prohibited information. I would call this a systematic failure to comply with the requirements of the Russian law to remove prohibited information,” Subbotin said.

He added that we can talk about the share of the fine from 1/20 to 1/10 of the annual revenue, but the court will decide on the amount of fines.
