The head of the Ministry of Economy Lyubchenko submitted his resignation-UKRINFORM.UA

First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economy Oleksiy Lyubchenko submitted a request to accept his resignation.

This was announced by the representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnychuk in a  Telegram .

“The First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Economy of Ukraine Oleksiy Lyubchenko has submitted an application to the Verkhovna Rada with a request to accept his resignation,” he wrote.

The Verkhovna Rada appointed Lyubchenko to the post of First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture on May 20 this year.

As Ukrinform reported, the Verkhovna Rada will  consider the issue of personnel changes in the government on Wednesday and Thursday, November 3 and 4.

On November 1, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories Oleksiy Reznikov submitted an application to the Verkhovna Rada to resign  of his own volition. The same statement was made by Deputy Prime Minister – Minister for Strategic Industries Oleg Urusky. The official  application for dismissal from the Minister of Environment and Natural Resources Roman Abramovsky was received by the Verkhovna Rada on October 19.

David Arahamiya, chairman of the Servant of the People parliamentary faction, said at a briefing on Monday that members of the Servant of the People faction were considering the candidacy of incumbent Deputy Minister of Environment and Natural Resources of Ukraine for Digital Development, Digital Transformations and Digitization Ruslan Strelts; the current head of the State Customs Service Pavel Ryabikin – to the post of Minister for Strategic Industries; People’s Deputy Iryna Vereshchuk – to the position of Deputy Prime Minister – Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories.
