At a plenary session on December 1, President Volodymyr Zelensky will address the Verkhovna Rada with an annual message on Ukraine’s internal and external situation.

This was announced by the press secretary of the head of state Serhiy Nikiforov in a comment to Ukrinform.

“On December 1, the President is scheduled to deliver an Annual Address to the Verkhovna Rada on the Internal and External Situation of Ukraine,” the spokesman said.

Rashina was told about it by the press secretary of the Verkhovna Rada Chairman Maria Deineko.

“Yes, on December 1,” she said, answering questions about the specific date of the President’s address to parliament with an annual message.

Earlier, the head of the parliamentary faction “Servant of the People” David Arahamiya stated that this event will take place in December.

According to Article 106 of the Constitution of Ukraine, every year the President addresses the Verkhovna Rada with a message about the internal and external situation in Ukraine.

On October 22, 2021, Volodymyr Zelensky made changes to the composition of the working group to prepare a draft annual address of the President.

As Ukrinform reported, last year President Volodymyr Zelensky delivered his Annual Address to the Verkhovna Rada on October 20.

The Constitution of Ukraine stipulates that the powers of the President include appeals with annual and extraordinary messages to the Verkhovna Rada on the internal and external situation of Ukraine.
