The Agency for Cultural Heritage under the Ministry of Tourism and Sports reports that information was published on social networks that the land in the Chor Bakr complex was put up for auction.

As a result of the inspection of the cultural heritage of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the internal audit of the Agency for Cultural Heritage under the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Bukhara region dated January 17, 2022, sites in the protected areas of the cultural heritage site “Chor Bakr” complex, which are under state protection on the territories of the Shergiron MFC of the Bukhara region are put up for illegal electronic Internet auctions on the basis of lease and ownership rights.

According to the appeal sent on January 7, 2022 by the Department of Cultural Heritage of the Bukhara Region to the Department of the State Cadastral Chamber of the Cadastral Agency of the Bukhara Region, it was recommended to take measures to exclude the Chor Bakr complex from the protected area in total 6 ( 0.10, 8 ha) empty land plots in the automated information system “Erelectron”.
