Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov denied the information of the Western media about the alleged requests sent to China for military support of the special operation in Ukraine. According to him, Russia itself can complete what it started “on time and in full.”
“Newspapers now write a lot, so you should not take it as a primary source. Russia has an independent potential to continue the operation,” – summarised Peskov.
He added that everything is “developing according to plan.” Nevertheless, the Kremlin spokesman refused to disclose the timing of the completion of the special operation.
A similar statement was made today by the press secretary of the Chinese Embassy in the United States, Liu Penyu. He stressed that Russia did not ask for either military or economic support for the special operation.
