The Russian armed forces have prepared a trap for US ships that are moving towards the waters of the Baltic Sea, News.ru reported, citing Avia.pro reports.
The American warships approaching St. Petersburg will be surrounded by the Russian fleet, military aircraft and coastal missile systems.
According to News.ru, the US Navy usually sends its warships only to the Black Sea, they do not risk approaching St. Petersburg through the Baltic Sea.
The so-called Russian Baltic Gate – this is not a place where US warships can walk freely, – experts say.
