Chirchik authorities began to hang signs in public places with a request to speak Uzbek, according to a Podrobno.uz correspondent.

The city khokimiyat called it a challenge in support of the state language. The action was organized by the department of spirituality of the city administration.

On leaflets, words are written in Uzbek, opposite which a check mark is placed, and words in Russian are written in front of them with a cross.
