Fairs, games, folklore. Almost 2 million soms to be spent on Nooruz in Bishkek-KLOOP.KG

1 million 800 thousand soms from the state budget will be spent on holding Nooruz in Bishkek. This was reported to Kloop by the Deputy Director of the Department of Culture Urmat Belekbaev.

Initially, the state allocated 2 million soms for the event, but the tender was won by suppliers with a budget of 1 million 800 thousand soms.

Urmat Belekbaev said that there would be a major event: from 10 am to 12:30 pm there would be a theatrical performance and a concert on Ala-Too Square. According to him, the square will be festively decorated, sound equipment, a stage, LED screens, swings, yurts will be installed.

“From three o’clock in three parks: in the health park, Yntymak and Yntymak 2, there will be festivities. In the health park we will hold tournaments in mini-football, chess, tug-of-war, children’s athletics – there will be many other sports games. A fair of national cuisine and eco-products will be held in the Yntymak park. In Yntymak 2 we will hold a folklore pop concert, master classes in needlework and the national game Ordo,” Belekbaev said.
