More than 100 fake exhibits were found in the Ichan-Kala State Museum-Reserve, Podrobno.uz correspondent reports citing data from the Cultural Heritage Agency.
The Inspectorate for the Protection of Cultural Heritage of the Cabinet of Ministers and the Agency for Cultural Heritage carried out work to study the fund of the State Museum-Reserve “Ichan-Kala”. The study revealed a number of shortcomings and problems.
So, in the course of the study, items included in the List of Unique Items were analyzed. In total, it was revealed that a total of 101 museum items do not match the descriptions of the credit book in terms of size, material, processing style and period of creation.
