President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received the executive director of Eni, Claudio Descalzi, KAPITAL reported, citing the press service of Akorda.

During the meeting, they discussed plans for the implementation of the largest oil and gas projects Kashagan and Karachaganak.

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was informed that, despite the ongoing pandemic, the pace of implementation of ongoing projects at Kashagan continues.

 According to Claudio Descalzi, a number of key investment decisions have been made to increase oil production. The NCOC consortium is preparing a concept for the full-scale development of the Kashagan field. Work is also continuing to increase gas processing capacities.
