The Polish frontier service stated that on April 10 and 11, the Belarusian border guards began throwing stones at their Polish colleagues.
“Today, after midnight, soldiers from Belarus attacked Polish patrols twice, throwing stones. A border service officer and a Polish soldier were injured, a border service car was damaged,” the press service of the Polish Border Guard reported on April 11.
And on the 10th in Poland, they also complained about the inappropriate behavior of the Belarusian border guards. According to the Polish border guards, such actions of the Belarusian side are designed to help illegal immigrants break into the territory of Poland.
“On 10.04 in the morning, in the Cheremsha sector, Belarusian servicemen threw stones at Polish patrols. At this time, a group of foreigners illegally crossed the border. Several people were arrested, including 6 from Yemen, 4 from Syria and one from Sudan. This month there were 300 illegal entry attempts,” the Poles complained.
The Border Committee of Belarus did not comment on these accusations.
