Russian President Vladimir Putin said that it is necessary to pay pensioners another 10 thousand rubles. The Russian leader said this at a meeting with representatives of the United Russia party on Sunday. The broadcast was hosted by the Russia 24 TV channel.
The head of state said that a thousand rubles for elderly Russians “is eaten up by inflation,” so the amount is clearly not enough. Putin urged to organize another payment: pensioners will receive ten thousand one-time. It is noted that the lump-sum payment will affect all pensioners, including workers and the military.
“I would ask United Russia, when it forms a faction in the Duma, to react in a certain way and propose to additionally pay pensioners this year a one-time payment in the amount of 10 thousand rubles” – said Putin.
In addition, the Russian leader proposed to make a one-time payment to servicemen on average 15 thousand rubles at the end of the year . Putin explained: payments should apply to all Russian military personnel.
Prior to that, it was reported that Putin took part in the solemn ceremony of raising the Russian flag in Victory Park on Poklonnaya Gora in Moscow. It was held in honor of the Day of the State Flag of the Russian Federation.
