The Rada has started the procedure of reviewing the 2022 state budget-UNIAN.UA

The Verkhovna Rada initiated the procedure of consideration of the state budget of Ukraine in the first reading, supporting the resolution on the conclusions and proposals of the Committee on Budget. 

According to an UNIAN correspondent, 264 people’s deputies voted for the adoption of the draft resolution №6000-P with the required minimum of 226 votes.

According to the adopted document, the state budget revenues are projected at UAH 1.267 trillion, expenditures – UAH 1.422 trillion.

Budget deficit of 3.5% of gross domestic product (GDP), amounting to UAH 188 billion.

Economic growth is expected at 3.8%. UAH 181.4 billion is pledged to service the national debt, UAH 393.3 billion is repaid. The average monthly salary will be UAH 15,300. Consumer inflation will reach 6.2%. The average annual rate is set at UAH 28.6 per dollar.

“The draft budget is quite balanced and realistic to implement, which was confirmed by the IMF as part of the technical mission and the statement, which came out on Monday with our partners on the first revision of the stand-by program. The draft budget provides sufficient funds to finance all priority needs the state within the framework of the current tax legislation “, – the Minister of Finance of Ukraine Serhiy Marchenko commented on the decision.
