The Latvian An-2 aircraft violated the state border of Belarus. This was announced on Tuesday by the State Border Committee of Belarus.

“On the morning of February 8, Belarusian border guards recorded a violation of the airspace of Belarus by Latvia. An An-2 light aircraft flew into Belarusian territory to a depth of 300 m and, having circled the Urbany checkpoint, returned to Latvia,” the department ’s Telegram channel says. .

The border department reminded that over the past few months this is not the first case of violation of the Belarusian border by foreign aircraft.
